For the second year in a row, wTVision was the real-time graphics and data provider of one of the most passionate football matches in Brazil: the Supercup.
In a partnership with CBF, the Brazillian Football Federation, our team managed every on-air graphic and real-time statistics during the live broadcast of the match.
The project was done thanks to a combination of wTVision’s software stack: FootballStats CG, our powerful application to collect sports statistics and generate broadcast graphics, and R³ Space Engine, wTVision real-time 3D render engine.
Our team on site was responsible for collecting detailed information and statistics while transforming such data into compelling on-air graphics. All of this using our intuitive FootballStats CG, a software developed after years of experience covering some of the biggest football competitions in the world.
Additionally, our broadcast design team created the openers and wipes of the live broadcast and adapted our partner’s concept to on-air graphics. Our creative team made sure the look and feel selected by CBF was ready to go on-air with real-time data.
“The work of wTVision was fundamental for us to reach the level of success of the Supercup since its creation in 2020. We have consolidated not only a competition, but also a broadcast and production product. We generated a specific visual identity for the broadcasts of this competition and reached the whole of Brazil. For large projects it is important to have good partners with us. ” – Lucas Varidel, Digital Communication Coordinator at CBF
wTVision and its FootballStats CG have been a constant presence in Brazilian football for the last couple of years. Our production team and software stack have already covered the main football league (Brasileirão), cup matches, Libertadores, SulAmericana and state championships. Our capacity to adapt to almost any environment and our clients’ specific needs makes it easy for us to create projects from scratch, with scalable human resources and technical demands.
