From February 14 to March 6, a team of wTVision’s operators was in Mauritania covering the Under-20 African Cup of Nations.
Thanks to a combination between wTVision’s FootballStats CG (a unique application capable of providing data and detailed Football statistics and turn them into broadcast graphics) and our very own 3D graphics rendering engine, R³ Space Engine, our production team was able to manage and control data and on-air graphics during every match of the competition. Official data was provided by Stats Perform and integrated into live broadcasts in real-time.
To guarantee the safety of our team and the efficiency of the production in the most simple intuitive way possible, operators on-site controlled graphics and statistics with our FootballStats CG Single Operator Edition. All graphic information, such as line-ups, individual performance statistics, or ball possession, was generated through a solution that only demands one specialist covering the match.
With this simple set-up, based on wTVision’s software stack and production team, we were able to provide a complete solution for one of the most relevant Football competitions in Africa.
